Join Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) as a Metal Casting Scientist/Engineer to strengthen the United States' security. Conduct research, develop metal casting process procedures, and support interdisciplinary teams in the Advanced Materials Process Science group.
Requirements
- Support research, development, and documentation of metal casting process procedures
- Investigate and document causes of casting defects
- Serve as a technical contact on metal casting and foundry technologies
- Conduct experiments in an inert atmosphere glovebox
- Handle hazardous, flammable, and radiological materials
- Develop and present written analyses and verbal briefings
