HGV Class 2 Hiab

Lawsons is the UK’s largest independent supplier of timber, fencing, and building materials. We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual for our AVS Rudgwick branch as a HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver, joining our friendly and dedicated logistics team.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence and up-to-date CPC qualification
• Valid Hiab (Lorry Loader crane) certificate/experience operating hydraulic loading cranes
• Previous experience delivering building materials or similar goods
• Strong road safety and compliance knowledge, with a commitment to maintaining vehicle standards
• Friendly and professional customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
• Organised approach to delivery paperwork, vehicle checks, and route planning
• Willingness to learn and take on varied branch duties as required
