Yard Operative

As a Yard Operative at Lawsons, you will be working in the yard and warehouse, delivering excellent customer service and playing a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a Yard at a Builders Merchants (essential)
• A Live and Valid Forklift License (essential)
• A Full UK Driving License (essential)
• Up to date forklift training certificate
• Positive and approachable attitude
• Good product knowledge within the Industry
• Professionalism and adherence to company's values
• Good interpersonal skills, confidence, and ability to approach customers
• Good problem-solving skills, logically minded, and good math skills
• Good understanding of stock control principles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work to and maintain set company standards
• Good numeracy and ability to read picking tickets/delivery notes
• Good time management

• Salary range £29,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
