The Requirements Project Officer role is to write requirement statements and gather information for options appraisals for future projects. The role requires working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders from both within and outside the council to achieve effective integrated and best value outcomes for residents of Barnet.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- IT skills: Computer literate – advanced experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project
- Project Management: Experience of managing projects in a complex organisation with a large and varied stakeholder base
- Experience of budget management
- Experience of financial modelling and business case development
- Experience of delivering projects to time, quality, and cost
- Highly developed problem solving and analytic skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills as this role requires working with a range of people
- The ability to present to stakeholders and managers
- The skill of persuasive communication
- To be able to make strong connections with a wide range of people
