The CMM Program Operator is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of aeronautical products to meet engineering design requirements, and developing and implementing metrology methods for manufacturing inspection.
Requirements
- Associate degree in CAD or equivalent experience creating/reading drawings with GD&T
- Minimum two years of experience in engineering design or manufacturing inspection
- Ability to read, interpret, and inspect to drawings, procedures, and process specifications, and clearly communicate findings
- Proficient with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages
- Skilled in advanced metrology equipment such as Faro Arms, Laser Trackers, CMMs, and Laser Scanners
- Proficient with PolyWorks, Cam2 MeasureX, and PC-DMIS software
- Strong knowledge of GD&T
- Working knowledge of Pro-Engineer (Creo)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
