As a Process Engineer at Lear, you will design and implement automated production processes for new projects, create and update system and workplace documentation, and provide engineering support for production processes. You will collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance departments to resolve current process issues and implement corrective actions. You will also analyze and monitor long-term production capacity and implement improvements in existing production processes.
Requirements
- Higher technical education
- Preferred fields: Mechanics and Machine Building, Production Management, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics
- Min 3 years of experience on a similar position in a production plant
- Automotive industry experience a plus
- Desirable experience with automated processes
- English language skills to enable free communication (B2)
- Experience in making process changes in the area of mass production
- Practical knowledge of PFMEA, OEE, APQP, SPC, Auto CAD, Lean Manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements and the APIS-IQ RM program a plus
- Knowledge and ability to apply practical methods of root cause identification and problem-solving
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Independence, very good work organization, proactivity
