Job Description
Piedmont Concrete Contractors (PCC) in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a proactive and positive Project Engineer to join their team. The role involves managing project schedules, budgets, resources, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers. PCC emphasizes a forward-thinking, Safety for Life culture within the Lee Construction Group.
Requirements
- Help manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Read and apply construction plans and specs.
- Keep everything safe and compliant.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Report progress to the project leader.
- Knowledge of building materials, methods, and tools.
- Math whiz (arithmetic, algebra, geometry).
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Top-notch communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech-savvy (Procore knowledge is a plus)
- Strong safety focus (CPR/First Aid, OSHA 30 certifications)
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License
