Job Description
Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Project Manager within their Commercial & Customer team to support the Home Furniture business. This role involves leading cross-functional teams in launching innovative furniture component projects, optimizing timelines, and managing financial targets. The team emphasizes customer focus, continuous improvement, and clear communication.
Requirements
- Lead cross-functional project teams using Zoho Projects
- Execute stage-gate project management steps (Define, Design/Test, Feedback/Approval, Tooling, Launch)
- Maintain thorough project documentation and stakeholder communication
- Support product planning through timeline and resource inputs
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers
- Proactively identify project risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Bridge communication between sales and engineering
- Research, investigate, and drive cutting edge thinking
