Mechanical Engineer I

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer I to join the Data Center Power & Control Division, Starline Team in Tuas, Singapore. The Mechanical Engineer I provides engineering support for the commercialization, application, and customization of all Starline products.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Relevant experience in the mechanical engineering field, either in a professional or academic setting
• Familiarity with low voltage power distribution equipment preferred
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards a plus
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required up to 10%
• Relevant internship/co-op experience preferred
• Experience using AutoCAD, Inventor and/or the VAULT
• Experience with an ERP system preferred
• Exceptional organizational, time management, communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Familiarity with principles and processes for providing customer satisfaction including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Familiarity with project management processes and principles
