Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer I to join the Data Center Power & Control Division, Starline Team in Tuas, Singapore. The Mechanical Engineer I provides engineering support for the commercialization, application, and customization of all Starline products.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Relevant experience in the mechanical engineering field, either in a professional or academic setting
- Familiarity with low voltage power distribution equipment preferred
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards a plus
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required up to 10%
- Relevant internship/co-op experience preferred
- Experience using AutoCAD, Inventor and/or the VAULT
- Experience with an ERP system preferred
- Exceptional organizational, time management, communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with principles and processes for providing customer satisfaction including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with project management processes and principles
