Shipping Lead

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Team Lead to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA. This position will help direct the work of, support and lead a team of frontline employees within the Shipping Department on the Weekend Day shift (6:00am - 6:00pm).

• Evaluate and make recommendations on hiring decisions

• Support/Coordinate Pick Pack and Ship Process with Dept. Supervisor
• Run necessary reports to ensure the priority of shipments are being met to meet customer demands.
• Reporting rate quotes to sales as needed.
• Identify orders that have crating needs.
• Schedule trucks for pickups and deliveries.
• Schedule Scrap pick up.
• Schedule inbound RMA shipments.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Communicate with Department Supervisors on job’s status.
• Emails and Phone calls from sales and accounting as needed.
• Assist in the training of new employee’s.
