The Supplier Development & Performance Manager is responsible for improving supplier capability, performance, cost competitiveness, and operational excellence. This role drives supplier performance management, VAVE initiatives, and Lean projects to achieve cost reduction, quality improvement, delivery reliability, and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, business, or related field (or equivalent); Master’s degree or professional certifications (such as APICS) are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years in supplier development, procurement or supply chain, operations, and/or manufacturing.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Strong collaboration, and negotiation skills and demonstrated success managing in a matrixed organization
- Ability and comfortable working with data, KPIs, and performance dashboards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced organization and balance multiple priorities
- Strong project management skills and ability to influence without authority
- Familiar with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work and lead teams
- 25% of traveling nationally and internationally is expected
