Job Description
Nottingham City Council is seeking a Senior Solicitor to join their Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. The role involves handling complex property, commercial and debt recovery matters. The position offers hybrid work and a supportive work culture, with opportunities for training and supervision, and experience across the wider Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. They are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to contribute to improving the lives of those in Nottingham.
Requirements
- Solicitor, CILEX (with Civil Litigation Practice Rights) or Barrister, with substantial post qualification experience of Civil Litigation matters.
- Desirable: Considerable experience of undertaking complex matters in respect of some of the areas of law referred to in the job description.
- Ability to organise own workload and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Supervisory experience.
- Ability to work well within a team.
