Job Description
Counselor position provides counseling and supportive services to promote recovery and stable life function. Collaborates with Vocational staff and participates in interdisciplinary team conferences and meetings.
Requirements
- BA in Human Services plus 2 years equivalent experience
- Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-T or CASAC)
- Understands substance use and/or Methadone treatment and basic counseling skills
- Able to work well as part of a complex team
- Must be multi-culturally sensitive to the needs of clients in treatment
