Job Description
LEX Diagnostics is a rapidly growing company developing ultra-fast PCR-based diagnostic tools for various settings. They are seeking a Head of Reagent Development to lead the design, optimisation, and production of their reagent systems, both for qPCR and RT-qPCR. The role involves a balance of lab work and project management within a fast-paced, ISO13485-aware environment.
Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent) in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field
- Substantial experience developing qPCR/RT-qPCR assays
- Deep, hands-on experience in lyophilisation
- Background in nucleic acid extraction
- Confident leader with experience managing teams and projects
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience working in BSL-2 labs and understanding of biosafety measures
