Requirements

• Maintain a working knowledge of the ledger assignment
• Conduct analysis for Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss, monitor trend and fluxes and evaluate accounting implications
• Assist and engage with Country counterparts and/or Corporate Accounting Team on all matters affecting assigned ledgers
• Point of contact for queries to any Accounting and GBS functional teams, coordinates with relevant parties throughout the statutory audit process
• Ensure standard policies and procedures are applied and any exceptions are reported to Corporate Accounting or Local Finance
• Monitors and ensures the performance of month-end closing activities
• Assist external auditors in the execution of interim and year-end audit ensuring timely completion with minimal business intervention
