Job Description
Lhoist North America is seeking a Mine Engineer to join their team in Crab Orchard, Tennessee. The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying and mapping, capital projects, ground control, ventilation, basic mine construction, and quality assurance. The position will work closely with the mine supervisor and mine manager in technical support of the operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in geology, mining, or related engineering / technical degree
- 1-3 years of progressive technical responsibility in underground mining environment
- Experience with CAD based computer software and Total Station survey equipment
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid written and oral communications skills, presentation skills and work effectively in a team environment
