Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time School Nurse to join our dedicated team. The School Nurse will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our students and staff, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing highly preferred.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal health regulations pertaining to school health.
- Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient demeanor with a passion for working with students.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and using electronic health record systems (if applicable).
- Commitment to the mission and values of Liberation Academy, including fostering an affirming and culturally responsive environment.
