Data Engineer (Relocation to Montenegro)

Libertex Group is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using modern tools like dbt. The role involves transforming, validating, and deploying data to ensure data accuracy and reliability. This is a full-time, remote position based in Serbia.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a data engineering role working with MSSQL Server
• Strong SQL skills (T-SQL preferred) with expertise in writing complex queries
• Proven track record in database design, query optimization, performance tuning, and implementing partitioning strategies.
• Solid understanding of database management, data migrations, and best practices for large-scale systems.
• 1+ year of experience developing, managing, and optimizing data models and transformations using dbt.
• Proficiency in designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines and transformations.
• Experience in data modeling and delivering clean, well-documented datasets to end users.
