Job Description
Hat World, Inc. is seeking an Associate Merchandise Planner to contribute to the building of financial sales, gross margin, and inventory plans. The role involves creating and delivering local assortment strategies, analyzing performance, and providing data-driven insights. This position requires close collaboration with Buying & Merchandising teams and requires a strong understanding of retail math and finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
- 1-4 years merchandising, planning, buying, or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong understanding of retail math and measure used in financial reporting
- Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relative software programs
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
