Certified Nursing Assistant provides nursing and nursing-related services to residents in a skilled nursing facility, promoting resident-centered care and a homelike environment. Opportunities exist to obtain CNA certification.

Requirements

• Successful completion of nurse aide training and competency evaluation program approved by the State of Minnesota within 4 months of the hire date
• Met regulatory requirements for certified nursing assistant in the State of MN
• 2 or more years of experience as a certified nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility (preferred)
• Training and experience in geriatric nursing (preferred)
• Active on the MN State Nurse Aide registry
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and commitment to providing person-centered care
• Good communication skills
• Good infection control practices
