Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team within Bath Spa University. The successful candidate will support students experiencing mental distress by delivering mental health interventions and providing immediate intervention when needed.

Requirements

• Qualification and current registration with a recognised professional body
• Significant post-registration experience in a relevant role
• Experience of providing short-term focused individual therapeutic interventions
• Experience in risk assessment and crisis management
• Experience of working with individuals with acute mental illness and diagnosed, long-term mental health conditions
• Experience of working within Higher Education
• Experience of working with complex emotional needs
• Experience of delivering interventions both 1:1 and in groups
