Job Description
Join Cytiva, a Danaher company, as a Senior Research Data Scientist to lead the design and development of advanced analytical models that combine mechanistic modelling and AI/ML techniques. This role is responsible for enabling smarter bioprocess control, predictive insights, and optimization strategies, accelerating the development of life-saving therapeutics.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- 8+ years in data science with a focus on bioprocess modelling and analytics with proven experience in hybrid modelling and spectral data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar tools for modelling and data analysis.
- Experience with spectral data analysis and chemometrics (PCA, PLS, multivariate regression).
- Preferred: Experience in bioprocessing or life sciences instrumentation. Active contributor to the field through scientific publications.
