Requirements

• Performing and documenting pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient
• Selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids
• Obtaining informed consent for anesthesia
• Managing a patient's airway
• Managing emergence and recovery from anesthesia
• Releasing or discharging patients from a post-anesthesia care area
• Providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications
