The Intervention Specialist instructs and assesses assigned students with disabilities in a personalized instructional environment, working with students and/or parents to determine and evaluate the students academic plan. This position will collaborate with school administration and faculty to support student retention and academic success.
Requirements
- Valid Ohio Educator License Intervention Specialist Mild/Moderate K-12th grade required
- Prior Experience working with children (with SLD, ED, MR, Autism, & other special needs) strongly recommended
- Teaching experience preferred; experience in a diverse setting preferred
- Proficient in student information systems
- Intermediate or Advanced, or Expert skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
