Job Description
The Director of Operations is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with clients, overseeing operations, and ensuring the safety and good housekeeping of the warehouse. The role also involves developing and leading logistics initiatives, tracking key performance indicators, and managing employees.
Requirements
- Maintain positive and constructive relationships with clients/customers
- Oversee the Operations Supervisors in the development and monitoring of the annual operating budget
- Ensure warehouse safety and good housekeeping
- Holds management and employees accountable to the company’s culture and values
- Develops and leads planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of logistics initiatives
- Works with Vice President of Operations and Supervisors on supporting company and group initiatives
- Travel to other LifeScience Logistics locations, as needed
