Family Support Worker

FamiliesFirst Network provides foster care, adoption, and child welfare services in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. They help abused and neglected children and their families through collaboration with partner organizations. The Family Support Worker will assist Child Welfare Case Managers with basic social services.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• One (1) year experience in social, economic, health or rehabilitative setting, medical, nursing, child development or childcare setting; OR one (1) year of post high school in education social services, economic, health, rehabilitative, medical or childcare services may be substituted for the year of experience required; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Valid driver’s license
