Shipping Receiving Specialist

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist position works in the warehouse area for receiving, storing, and delivering of goods and supplies throughout the warehouse and production areas. The position is responsible for safely and efficiently driving a unit to trailers to move to and from dock doors for loading and unloading trucks.

Requirements

• Overseeing the proper loading, unloading, and handling of goods and materials.
• Validating the received materials and goods with the invoices to ascertain the precision of the goods delivered.
• Ensuring the completion of all paperwork relating to the received goods and processing of the bills of lading.
• Ensuring the proper handling and stocking of goods in compliance with warehousing and storage requirements.
• In charge of receiving supplies and materials into the Warehouse.
• May assist in monitoring the warehouse records and inventory and filing reports of discrepancies in quantities and damages to the supervisor.
• Ability to communicate with fellow workers, Supervisors and Managers.
• Responsible for following Plant specified job specification, task list and completion of all requirement paperwork.
• Responsible for conducting him/herself in a safe manner and adhering to all required safety protocols and policies, including safe driving practices.
