Job Description
Lifthium is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead design engineering, hydrometallurgy, and lithium processing systems. The role involves designing and engineering lithium recovery and hydrometallurgical systems, conducting feasibility studies, and managing projects from design reviews to full-scale operations, ensuring safety and environmental compliance. This position requires collaboration with engineering, operations, and production teams, as well as staying updated on industry trends.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in chemical or process engineering
- 10+ years of experience in process design and development
- Solid experience in lithium processing and/or hydrometallurgy
- Knowledge of process optimization methodologies
- Proficiency with simulation tools like SysCAD
- Strong working knowledge of core unit operations
- Familiarity with safety/ environmental regulations
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Engineering excellence at the center of all tasks
- Spoken and written English, proficiency in Portuguese a distinct advantage
