Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure Team

The Infrastructure Team at Liftoff builds and maintains the infrastructure that powers their real-time data pipelines, including hosting, code deployment, and monitoring tools. The role focuses on end-to-end ownership of projects and ensuring high impact on user acquisition and revenue.

Requirements

• Strong coding ability - experience in Go is a plus
• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• Solid core CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, architecting systems)
• Experience with any major cloud technologies AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience building high-scale distributed systems and backend architectures
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ability to get things done
• Genuine interest in debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed systems problems
• Ability to lead and collaborate across team and role boundaries
