Job Description
LightEdge is seeking a Data Center Operations Technician I to support the daily operation, maintenance, and service of their datacenter environments. The role involves deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware, maintaining inventory, and assisting with deployments and projects. It is an entry-level position providing foundational experience in the field.
Requirements
- Deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot datacenter hardware including servers, cabling, power, and related components.
- Respond to support calls and incidents within the ticketing system.
- Maintain accurate inventory of consumables.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and unpacking of datacenter hardware.
- Support physical deployments and datacenter tours.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Coordinate with vendors.
