Staff Accountant

Lindblad Expeditions is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Finance department. The role focuses on operational accounting, ensuring accuracy and integrity, assisting with month-end close, and driving continuous improvement through process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive.

Requirements

• Perform daily accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in accordance with GAAP.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
