Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lawyer (In-House Counsel) to join our Risk and Legal team at Lindsay Construction. As an in-house Lawyer, you will provide advice to the Director, Risk & Legal, and assist project teams in executing building projects in Atlantic Canada.
Requirements
- Negotiate, review, and interpret building contracts, subcontracts, and amendments.
- Draft agreements, amendments, supplementary conditions, and schedules/appendices.
- Evaluate and report on insurable claims.
- Provide timely advice to project teams on policies, reporting, and claims management.
- Coordinate claims, including required documentation, with project teams, brokers, and adjusters.
