Job Description
Liquid Robotics is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the integration of technology on their wave gliders. This role involves leading technical capture teams, managing a team, providing technical leadership, and driving innovation within the maritime market. The position is based in Virginia, though candidates will be considered for hybrid work with frequent travel.
Requirements
- BS in science or engineering field (advanced degree strongly preferred)
- 12+ years in maritime technology and solution development
- 5+ years in engineering management
- Experience leading teams of 20+
- Experience with developing and managing unmanned maritime vehicles/systems
- Experience with maritime sensor integrations, solution development, and mission/CONOPs development/planning
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- U.S. Person status required
- U.S. security clearance required
