Mechanical Engineer

LiquidPiston is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join their team, contributing to the development of compact, high-efficiency rotary diesel engines. The role involves all phases of engine development from concept to testing and iteration, requiring strong mechanical design skills and analytical thinking. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (preferred)
• Familiarity with Matlab and mechanical system modeling/analysis
• Solid understanding of mechanical fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (building, testing, prototyping)
