They are seeking a UAV Electronics System Engineer to lead the design and integration of electronic control systems for UAVs, involving control systems architecture, embedded software development, and electromechanical integration. The role requires close collaboration with aircraft and engine development teams to develop UAV technology demonstrators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/ Engineering, or a related field
- Notable experience with electronic system design and embedded control systems for UAVs or robotic platforms
- Proficiency in embedded software development, scripting, real-time operating systems, and software/hardware integration
- Familiarity with electromechanical systems, sensors, communication protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, MAVLink, I2C), and PCB design
- Experience with computer modeling and simulation of electro-mechanical systems
- Experience working with UAV flight controllers, autopilot systems (e.g., PX4, ArduPilot)
- History of hands-on work in a fast-paced, collaborative R&D environment
- Self-driven, disciplined, committed to quality and meeting deadlines
