The Technical Project Manager will report to the Project Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for managing technical projects to ensure the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget, and scope.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in project management within IT, with strong focus on cloud migrations, data initiatives, and enterprise applications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale technical projects end-to-end, using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise data management concepts
- Familiarity with Salesforce implementations
- Exposure to enterprise architecture practices, security frameworks, or data governance operating models
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO27001, PCI DSS) and ability to ensure projects meet compliance requirements
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing vendors/partners
- Excellent organizational skills to successfully manage multiple projects
- Proven track record of quality execution, results-driven mindset, risk assessment and mitigation, and sense of urgency in resolving challenges as they arise
- Strong executive communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to tailor updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with vendors, peers, stakeholders, and management
- Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, and/or another equivalent project management tool
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services is preferred
- Familiarity with organizational change management methodologies is preferred
