Loancrate is a remote-first company that builds AI-native tooling to automate mortgage workflows. They are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to lead and drive their security posture, build systems and tooling to catch security issues early, and help engineers move fast and sleep at night.

Requirements

• Conducting a comprehensive threat model of their application and infrastructure layers, identifying the highest-leverage gaps and building a pragmatic remediation roadmap.
• Hardening their AWS infrastructure while keeping developer workflows frictionless.
• Integrating security tooling into their CI/CD pipeline.
• Partnering with engineering on their SOC 2 Type II posture.
• Building secure-by-default patterns and libraries so teams don't have to reinvent security per service.
