Lochner is seeking a Roadway Engineer to join their team in Lexington, KY. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing roadways and drainage for KYTC and other DOT clients. The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience in roadway design, and proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in roadway design and plan preparation on transportation projects for DOT clients
- KYTC experience is preferred
- Experience in Microstation required and OpenRoads designer is a plus
- Drainage, stormwater and erosion control design experience is a plus
- Traffic modeling, roundabout design, drainage design and/or highway lighting design experience is a plus
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
