As a Low Observable Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge signature reduction solutions and guiding program milestones. Your responsibilities will include performing, analyzing, and communicating vehicle signature predictions using Unix-based codes and tools, planning and executing laboratory measurements of material coupons, researching, designing, fabricating, and testing advanced electromagnetic metamaterials, developing and maintaining signature prediction tools, and leading R&D plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Optics
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
- Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility
- Experience with radar cross section reduction (RCSR) or radio-frequency (RF) antenna design/integration
- Expertise in LO modeling and predictions: Computational electromagnetics (CEM), Hybrid Finite Element, Boundary Integral method (FE-BI), Method of Moments (MoM), Xpatch, SENTRi, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, FDTD, Saber
- Experience with LO integration / multi-discipline air vehicle systems design
- Knowledge of RADAR, RF materials, RF material measurements
- Programming with C/C++, Java, Fortran, Matlab, Python
- CAD software literacy for model cleanup and meshing
