Project Engineer Sr

Join Lockheed Martin to work on emerging technologies and deliver amazing new technologies to customers. As a Project Engineer Sr, you will lead, plan, and manage budgetary planning estimates and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) acquisition activities. The role involves working closely with senior program leadership, customer counterparts, and technical leads to evaluate cost, schedule, and technical scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (engineering field or technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Prior proposal, cost modeling, or long range project planning experience.
• Must be a US Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance after starting
• Prior experience with proposal development tools and best practices such as Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Material Cost Estimating (MCE), Executive Planning Panel (EPP) presentations, Contract & FAR limitations
• Current employee on LM CPS WSI or Zumwalt program
• Demonstrated strong communication skills with experience directly interfacing with senior leadership and/or customers
• Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical)
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to evaluate cost, schedule, and technical scope
• Excellent presentation abilities (creation and delivery)
• Excellent organizational skills
