Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support multiple programs in the Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems business. The candidate will be expected to support the mechanical design, development and analyses across various programs.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience supporting multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Strong Problem Solving Skills
- Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship required.
- Strong experience with design CAD/modeling using CREO
- Strong experience with structural analysis using hand calculations, closed form solutions and ANSYS
- Strong experience with thermal analysis using hand calculations, closed form solutions and ANSYS IcePak
- Masters Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
