Senior Software Engineer

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Severn, MD. The role involves planning, conducting, and coordinating software development activities, designing, developing, and testing software, and ensuring software development standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, math, or a related discipline, and experience in embedded software engineering, Agile software development teams, and leading teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, math, or a related discipline
• Experience in embedded software engineering
• Experience in embedded software design and development for space systems
• Fluency in C/C++, both Microsoft & GNU/Linux
• Experience working in Agile software development teams
• Experience leading teams and presenting technical content
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain & maintain a Security Clearance
