Systems Engineering Intern

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2026 in Littleton, Colorado. In this role, you will explore and develop your systems engineering understanding of requirements development and integration, working on the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) team.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in an Engineering undergraduate program pursuing a relevant engineering discipline or similar.
• Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with analyzing and resolving technical problems or projects
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain a Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in complex problem solving requiring multidisciplinary thinking
• Experience with System or System of Systems level design
• Excellent communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, customers, and leadership
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Active or Current Secret Security clearance
