Machine Operators are critical to the manufacturing and delivery of quality, on-time delivery of plastic components and finished goods to Lomont’s customers.
Requirements
- Complete work orders to drive scheduled production requirements per the customer’s needs.
- Process parts from molded to finish product and monitor product being produced/machined by molding presses.
- Accurately supply necessary items to machines, secondary and warehouse.
- Maintain and monitor material supply at the machine.
- Pack cartons with finished product as per work instructions.
- Communicate with team to supply and maintain material needed for current product running per bill of material at the machine as not to run the machine out of material.
- Fill out control logs in an accurate and timely manner.
- Identify and record basic defects in parts.
- Utilize quality measuring devices.
- Run advanced auxiliary equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and utilize safety features on machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Learn, implement and maintain 5S and lean principles.
