Job Description
Lookout, Inc. is a globally recognized cybersecurity leader delivering advanced protection for the most vulnerable element of any enterprise security strategy — human error and manipulation. We are seeking a Sr Software Engineer - Backend to contribute to the development of our platform, implementing large scale, low latency microservices and working on microservices built with Golang, Scala, Java and Ruby, hosted in AWS.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field/degree with at least 3-5 years of work experience
- Professional programming experience with Golang, Python, Scala, Java and/or Ruby+Rails
- Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals and algorithms
- Experience with event streaming frameworks, technologies, patterns and architectures (particularly Kafka or similar)
- Experience with implementing secure, scalable API services
- Experience with transactional databases and data modeling (Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB or equivalent)
- Cloud development experience (especially AWS)
