Job Description
Lord Abbett is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead and scale Kubernetes/Container platform and middleware stacks. This role involves designing, deploying, and operating high-availability Kubernetes infrastructure, automating deployment, managing security, and defining platform governance. The engineer will collaborate with SREs and contribute to platform SLAs and resilience benchmarks.
Requirements
- 15+ years of overall engineering experience
- 8+ years with Kubernetes platforms (EKS, OpenShift)
- Experience in managing streaming and caching infrastructure at scale
- Experience with API Management / Gateway platforms (Red Hat 3Scale)
- Deep knowledge of DevSecOps principles
- Strong automation experience (Helm, GitOps, ArgoCD)
- Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Groovy)
