Medical Assistant OBGYN Clinic

The Medical Assistant will ensure the physician's schedule flows efficiently, prepare for patient visits, and assist during exams. They will also maintain patient confidentiality, comply with HIPAA regulations, and communicate effectively with the physician and team.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA compliance
• Knowledge of OB/GYN and medical terminology and procedures
• Knowledge of Nursing theory, regulations and practices
• Skills: Computer literacy, Skilled in data entry, Demonstrate communication skills, tact, diplomacy, sensitivity, clarity and accuracy
• Abilities: Ability to understand and interpret policies and regulations, Ability to utilize good clinical judgment, Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with physician, team member and patient
