Assistant Music Director

The Assistant Music Director plays a key role in shaping the next generation of rockers by fostering creativity, confidence, and musical growth in our youngest students.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience teaching early childhood or elementary music programs (preferred)
• A strong understanding of music theory and/or curriculum design (a plus)
• A warm, patient, and encouraging teaching style that celebrates each child's individuality
• Excellent communication and people skills with both students and families
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• A collaborative mindset with creative problem-solving skills
• Resilience under pressure and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Ideally, a working musician or performer with formal music training
• Comfortable using technology such as Google Workspace (G Suite) — training provided as needed
