Clinical Assistant Professor of Communication Studies

The Communication Studies Department at Loyola Marymount University seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor in Public Relations. The position is a full-time, non-tenure track position starting in Fall 2026. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Public Relations or a closely related field, or be near completion of a Ph.D. in a related field.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Public Relations or a closely related field (preferable)
• Master's degree in Public Relations or a closely related field (minimum)
• Teaching experience and ability to develop new courses through innovative pedagogical approaches
• Ability to teach Public Relations courses and advise students in the Public Relations Minor
• Evidence of experience advising students or comparable professional experience
