Associate, Private Equity

LS Power is seeking an Associate to join its Private Equity team based in New York City. The role involves participating in the investment and portfolio management process for private equity funds, including identifying, diligencing, executing, managing, financing, and monetizing portfolio investments across various energy sectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, business, engineering, or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting
• Strong leadership, presentation, and communication skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with strong financial modelling capabilities
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles
